As a small group of New Testament disciples, our goal is to represent the kingdom of King Jesus to those around us. We take the teachings of Jesus and His apostles seriously, and believe these teachings remain relevant and authoritative to our lives today.
It is the responsibility of Jesus’ followers to make disciples (Matthew 28:19). We take the initial message of Jesus “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand” (Matthew 4:17) to be our call to both the world and the modern apostate church.
The Gospel of Jesus offers the remedy for all “who labor and are heavy laden,” with the promise “I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Being reconciled to Jesus necessitates repentance and amendment of life, which implies obedience to the teaching of Jesus such as the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 5, 6, 7).
